On 9 March 2020, Director Adina Claici speaks at Bruegel event with the title: Modernising European Competition Policy. The event addresses the need for modernising European competition policy due to structural changes in the economy caused by shifting global economic landscapes on the one hand and ongoing digitization of the economy on the other.

Adina Claici will participate in a panel discussion on whether (and how) competition law needs to be updated with a view to ongoing digitization of the economy, seeing that digital technologies not only change the structure of markets but also open up new levels of strategic global competition.
