The Norwegian Postal and Telecommunications authority (NPT) has chosen Copenhagen Economics as its adviser with respect to design, implementation and operation of the upcoming 2GHz Norwegian spectrum auction. The auction is scheduled to take place in November 2012. The 2GHz band (1920-1980 / 2110-2170 MHz) is currently being used mainly for mobile broadband solutions (3G, HSPA, etc.). Licenses in this band will be valid 20 years, have national coverage, and be technology neutral. For more information, see NPTs website or contact senior economist Frederik Harhoff
