The European Commission represented by DG TAXUD has commissioned Copenhagen Economics to carry out a study on the economic impacts of differentiated VAT- rates on goods and services. "All across the Union, the pros and cons of differentiated VAT-rates are debated. With this study, we hope to bring clarity to the issue", says senior economist Christian Jervelund from Copenhagen Economics.
