Copenhagen Economics Wins Large Assignment to Evaluate the Danish District Heating System

Copenhagen Economics has won a major assignment to evaluate the Danish district heating system for the Danish Government. The objective is to clarify:

  • How much can efficiency be improved?
  • How can improved regulation help attain such efficiency goals?

On the assignment, Copenhagen Economics will work with professor Peter Bogetoft – a leading expert in benchmark analysis – and Ernst&Young who is to help develop new accountancy rules consistent with new regulatory principles. 

 

In addition, several key economic ministries, the Danish Energy Agency, and the sector will be actively involved in order to ensure high quality results, and to the help the industry to become more productive.
