Today, two of our experts, David Nordström and Amanda Stefansdotter, speak at the Almedalen seminar in Sweden about gaming regulation, titled: “What is the optimal tax rate on a reregulated Swedish gaming market?” 

The theme of the seminar is the reregulated gaming market in Sweden; which tax rates that would optimally balance tax revenues for the Swedish government; and the amount of gaming occurring on regulated websites. The presentation is followed by a debate about the results by Maria Malmer Stenergard (M), Group Leader of the Swedish Tax Committee and tax policy spokesperson, and Sara Karlsson (S), member of the Swedish Tax Committee.

The seminar takes place at the annual Almedalsveckan on Gotland which is the largest political event in Sweden.
