Today, our Internal Market & Trade expert, Senior Economist Erik Dahlberg, speaks at the virtual conference “Road Towards EU Single Market”.

The theme of the conference is to show the benefits of the EU Single Market in order to prepare the EU accession countries towards the road of Single Market harmonization. Erik Dahlberg presents results of how the Single Market has impacted the Nordic countries’ trade, FDI, productivity, employment, etc.

The “Road Towards EU Single Market” is a virtual conference covering a variety of Single Market subjects. The main goal of the conference is to highlight the key-importance of the Single Market for the economy, the implementation of Single Market rules and gather experience on how the Single Market works for businesses and other professionals. The conference is organised by the Youth Entrepreneurial Service Foundation, financed by the United Nations and the Norwegian and Swedish embassies to North Macedonia.

Other speakers include Mr. Martin Eifel from the European Commission and Ms. Anna Montasser from the Federal Foreign Office Germany.
