EU budget review study

EU budget review study

April 13, 2015

Six experts from the EU are presenting their proposal for a future EU budget. Their report is based on analysis and suggestions from Copenhagen Economics, who were given the assignment by the Dutch Government. The report outlines the need to strengthen research and the EU’s efforts regarding both foreign and security policy and judicial policy areas. Both the analysis and the proposal include a number of more detailed recommendations. This analysis has the potential to improve both the quality and specificity of these different programs as regards their approach to solutions for common EU problems.
