Corporate collection of large amounts of data – ‘Big Data’ – plays an increasing role in competition economics. This is also noted by Competition Commissioner, Margrethe Vestager, who has highlighted how Big Data can distort competition and keep competitors out of the market.
But how do data-driven markets work, and how does Big Data impact competition?
Copenhagen Economics and the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority invites to a meeting in the Competition Economic Forum Thursday 2 February. The discussing will be based on a presentation by Christoph Schottmüller, Assistant Professor at Copenhagen University.
