Danish law firm Bruun & Hjejle and Copenhagen Economics are happy to co-host a seminar about the new EU Damage Directive. The seminar takes place 8 June at Bruun & Hjejle’s premsies in Copenhagen.
Both Bruun & Hjejle and Copenhagen Economics experience an increasing interest in the possibility of claiming compensation for breaches of The Competition Act. During the past three years, we have been involved in more than ten cases with a total claim of more than DKK 5 billion.
We expect an increasing number of damage cases following the implementation of the new EU Damage Directive, which makes it easier for both Danish and foreign victims of anticompetitive conduct and cartel behavior to claim compensation.
At the seminar, we explain the new rules, describe how compensations are calculated, and share our experience from previous cases.
Please note that the seminar will be in Danish.
