The Danish Agency for Water and Nature Management has asked Copenhagen Economics to examine and evaluate Danish water technology firms’ expectations to future export possibilities, the value of public instruments, and potential obstacles in acquiring finance. Moreover, we have explored the view on different models for delivering common Danish turnkey projects within the water and wastewater sectors.
We have conducted more than 20 interviews with the largest players in Danish water technology export – representing a majority of the total export – as well as institutional investors, water utilities and export finance institutions.
Yesterday, Helge Sigurd Næss-Schmidt presented the results of our study at a major conference for the water technology industry (VandTek 2016) in Copenhagen.
