New study: International trade is highly important to Denmark

March 5, 2018

More than one third of the growth in Danish GDP since 1992 is due to increased international trade. In addition, more than 800,000 jobs in Denmark are supported by exports, up by approximately 120,000 jobs since 1992.

These are some of the key results in our study on the importance of international trade for the Danish economy and employment.

In the study, we analyse the costs and benefits of the large increase in international trade since 1992, and we assess the prospects of increased international trade in the future.
