Our newest study for the European Parliament provides an overview of key issues facing the Parliament in relation to the postal sector in the coming term (2019-2024).
The postal and delivery sector is significant to the EU economy, generating revenue of EUR 79 billion per year and employing around 1.7 million people across the EU. However, two opposing dynamics in the letter and parcel delivery markets underpin fundamental challenges for all market stakeholders.
On 21 January, Martina Facino and Mindaugas Cerpickis will present the study to the European Parliament’s TRAN Committee in Brussels.
