New study: SAS is a major contributor to the Scandinavian economy

July 5, 2019

SAS contributes with a yearly value of SEK 34.2 billion to the Scandinavian economy through the airlines’ own activities and knock-on impacts on suppliers and other Scandinavian firms. SAS also contributes to the Scandinavian economy through added air connectivity, which boosts tourism, trade and foreign direct investments. As a network carrier with hubs at Arlanda, Kastrup and Oslo airports, SAS contributes more to the Scandinavian economy than point-to-point carriers.
