This is one of the main conclusions from a recent study for the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs.
The study analyses the activity on Danish equity markets (IPO, M&A, and capital increases) compared to neighbouring countries. We generally find relatively low activity for small transactions across all Danish markets. This somewhat surprising seen in the context that Danish firms in general have been relatively successful in raising equity from financial institutions in recent years.
