New study: Wider economic benefits from second Jutland motorway

September 8, 2016

There are large economic benefits from constructing a new motorway in Jutland, the so-called Hærvejsmotorvejen. In our new study, we estimate over 6 bn DKK in wider economic benefits from the project.

These benefits are on top of the 30 bn DKK in benefits already estimated by the Transport Ministry. Consequently, we find a total economic benefit of around 36 bn DKK from realising the 22 bn DKK expensive road project, and thus a very positive socio-economic return on the investment.
