The Green Bonds market in Europe has been growing in the last few years following the efforts across the EU to reach environmental targets through sustainable investing and finance.
Copenhagen Economics is currently working with financial institutions on how to scale-up lending for energy renovations as part of the EMF-ECBC (European Mortgage Federation – European Covered Bond Council) funded by the EU H2020 Research & Innovation Programme.
The Initiative examines how to ensure accurate data foundation for identifying buildings suitable for energy renovations and how to include green mortgages in the practical framework.
