At the Nordic Council Session 2011, hosted by the Danish Parliament, partner Christian Jervelund gave a speech on the gains from integrating the Nordic labour market. The speech highlighted the gains of enlarging local national labour markets by removing barriers to cross border commuting. The speech was a preview of an analysis Copenhagen Economics is conducting for the Nordic Council of Ministers aiming at quantifying barriers to improving the Nordic internal market. The results from the report will be presented at a conference in the Swedish Parliament 30 November 2011.
