During the past five years, the Danish Competition Appeals Tribunal has upheld the decision of Competition Council in all but a few cases. Copenhagen Economics has interviewed competition lawyers from 12 prominent law firms in Copenhagen. The lawyers saw this trend as a combination of reluctance from the Appeal Tribunal to go into a critical review of the assessments made by the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority (DCCA), and a rise in quality of work from DCCA.
