The Oslo City Court overturned a decision from Norway’s Competition Authority to fine the country’s largest dairy, Tine, 45 million kroner for abusing its dominance in Norway’s cheese market. The authority alleged that the agreement was abusive, and that Tine aimed to exclude cheese-producing rival Synnøve Finden from the market. The Oslo City Court cleared Tine of all charges. Copenhagen Economics assisted Tine in the case.
