Since Margrethe Vestager was appointed Commissioner of Competition, several commentators have criticised the post for not being adequately ‘heavy’.

This is, however, a clear error of judgment. Last Thursday, Claus Kastberg Nielsen, the Partner in charge of our competition services, commented on the appointment in Børsen and explained why Vestager will indeed play a pivotal role.
