Along with representatives from OECD, the European Commission, and the European Parliament, Sigurd will participate in a panel discussion on how the digital economy is transforming the economic landscape, posing significant challenges for policy makers.
Existing regulatory models to protect consumers and collect revenues are ill suited to accommodate new business models, creating unlevel playing fields and obstructing innovation. Sigurd will present key issues to address aa well as directions for needed reforms.
