Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity to join a motivated and collaborative team? At Copenhagen Economics, we are seeking talented individuals to help us drive our business forward. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality work and teaming effectively to achieve common goals. If you are eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges, we invite you to explore our job opportunities and join us in shaping the future of our company.
What unites us at CE is our passion for economics and the desire to use our theoretical foundation to solve real-world problems. We value the different backgrounds and knowledge that we each bring to the table.
Working with us, you will get to bring your strengths into play from day one, and through collaboration with colleagues from different areas of the business, you will get to build your professional and personal competencies further.
In this role, you will work on a variety of tasks within projects, including data collection, theoretical and quantitative analysis, drafting reports, and communicating results to clients. Teamwork is essential, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced colleagues to develop your economic toolbox and consulting skills. From the outset, you will assume important responsibilities and gain valuable personal and professional experience.
Your responsibilities will include understanding simple economic reasoning and analyses, executing a broad variety of well-defined tasks, performing pre-defined economic analyses under close supervision, and delegating work to (Senior) Research Assistants efficiently. If you are a team player with a passion for economics and consulting, we encourage you to apply.
We are seeking applicants for entry-level positions who are completing or have recently completed a master’s degree in economics.
We welcome applicants with a strong interest in areas such as microeconomics, industrial organisation, competition economics, health economics, environmental economics, valuation analysis, and quantitative analysis.
Proficiency in Excel is required, and experience with data analysis and modelling in R, Python, GAMS, and/or Stata is an advantage.
We value effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Proficiency in other languages, particularly Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Norwegian, Spanish, and Swedish, is considered an advantage but not a prerequisite.
We are looking for focused and pragmatic individuals who are curious to learn about a variety of industries, open to working on diverse types of projects, able to follow project timelines and budgets, and passionate about solving problems and helping others.
You should be able to take ownership of tasks and follow through on them.
If you have more than two years of relevant work experience or a PhD, we encourage you to submit an unsolicited application.
Please submit your application, including your CV, motivational letter, and academic tran-scripts no later than 12 May 2024.
In your motivational letter, please elaborate on why you would like to work with us and why you believe you would be a good fit for the role and our team (max 500 words).
As a company we are committed to responding to all applicants, no matter the result, and successful candidates will be informed and called for an interview on an ongoing basis.
