Communications Assistant (30h/week)

At Copenhagen Economics, we provide support to a wide range of clients across 14 different service areas. Based out of four main offices in Europe, we operate worldwide and have enjoyed sustained growth over the past many years.

We are therefore very excited to announce this opportunity to join our communications department and become part of a vibrant, international team helping to support our business and ensure our deliverables are of the highest quality in terms of language and layout.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Maintaining the company website, including SEO
  • Handling our social media profiles, including posting news and publications
  • Maintaining and enhancing the company's Word and PowerPoint templates
  • Managing internal communications through the company intranet
  • Offering guidance to our consultants on using our services, such as proofreading, translation, and formatting (training on this will be given)
  • Helping develop and update marketing materials for the company and its services
  • Supporting our various teams in relation to physical events (conferences, etc.) throughout the year
  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks, e.g., related to employee onboarding

What are looking for

To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 1-2 years of communications experience, ideally within an international or consultancy setting, though recent graduates from relevant degrees with high results will be considered. Exceptional communication skills are a must, and you should understand the importance and finer points of clear and engaging communication. It is important that you have a strong grasp of English approximating a native level of fluency.

You are a highly service-oriented and independent individual who can spot even the most subtle mistakes that others might miss, and you should be able to bring energy and a can-do attitude to the team. In addition to these qualities, you should have:

  • A degree in communication or a related field
  • Expert-level proficiency in MS Office programmes (especially PowerPoint and Word)
  • Experience with graphic design (familiarity with tools such as Canva, etc., is sufficient)
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.

Details of the position:

You will be expected to work 30hrs a week in a manner that you will agree with your People Manager. Your place of work will be Langebrogade 3C, DK-1411 Copenhagen, and you are expected to come to the office most days, though working from home is of course possible.
