Finance Assistant

We are looking for an assistant to help us ensure we deliver high quality in executing various day-to-day tasks and projects in our finance team.

WHO ARE WE?

At Copenhagen Economics you will meet a team of highly skilled economists working together to combine hard facts and clear stories to help our clients make better choices in their political and commercial reality.

In Business Support, we are a dedicated team of around 15 people working with Human Resources, Communications, Finance and Office Management who strive to deliver high-quality solutions and processes that support the company’s strategy While we are spread across our four locations, we collaborate cross-country to streamline ways of working.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

As a finance assistant, you will be exposed to a broad scope of finance tasks, ranging from accounts payable and accounts receivable to general accounting. You will collaborate closely with the rest of the finance team to ensure we deliver high quality in everything we do.

Working with us, you will be a part of a dynamic and international environment with colleagues who take pride in the work they do. We have an informal tone and put great emphasis on having a challenging and fun working day. You will be based in Copenhagen and report to our senior accountant.

Your tasks:

  • Processing incoming invoices
  • Handling expenses
  • Supporting month-end closing and year-end closing
  • Performing various day-to-day tasks
  • Supporting specific finance projects

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCE

You have a keen interest in learning ways of working within finance and enjoy being exposed to a broad variety of tasks. You are highly organised and meticulous and will seek to help the rest of the team deliver according to deadlines. You consistently strive to find more efficient ways of doing things.

You might have the following skills and profile:

  • You are currently a BSc or MSc student in economics and business administration or HA.
  • You might have some relevant work experience during your studies.
  • You have an excellent command of the English and Danish languages, both verbally and in writing.
  • You have hands-on experience with Excel.
  • It is a plus if you have worked in Microsoft Business Central and Continia, but not a must.

Expected hours of work: 20 hours per week
