Are you inspired by the prospect of working with Learning and Development in a highly dynamic international business? Do you have what it takes to deliver smooth processes and activities that help skilled professionals gain the additional skills they need to succeed?
We are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to drive our performance management and learning areas and build the critical competencies needed to support our strategy.
Copenhagen Economics (CE) is an international economics consultancy comprised of a diverse mix of highly skilled economists working together to deliver hard facts as clear stories. Trusted around the world for our unsurpassed technical abilities, we thrive on complex cases, offering unbiased, trustworthy analyses valued the world over for their insight and thoroughness. We prioritise service and strive to cultivate a deep understanding of our client’s needs from the first meeting.
Today, more than 100 talented individuals work at CE. Our core business comprises more than 80 consultants from students to senior specialists, located in four offices in Brussels, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Stockholm and supporting clients globally concerning, for example, dispute support, competition and regulatory economics across various sectors, climate and sustainability, intellectual property and transfer pricing. The 20-member Business Support Team (BST), of which you will be a part, work with Human Resources, Communications, Finance and Office Management. Tasked with delivering high-quality strategic support across the company, the BST is spread across our four locations and collaborates actively to maximise our resources and find more streamlined ways of working.
Ensuring that our employees have the best possible skills (both technical and soft skills) is business-critical in our line of work, where we advise on high-stake projects for large clients across the globe. We, therefore, strive to offer timely learning content to our colleagues throughout their careers. In addition to learning activities, we ensure that all co-workers have ongoing dialogues related to their development throughout the year. As our Learning and Development Specialist, you will take ownership of our performance management cycle, with the opportunity to further develop our learning area in collaboration with your People team colleagues and the business.
Being part of CE means being part of a dynamic and international team. We pride ourselves on providing a professional working environment with an atmosphere of cooperative and good humour. We have an informal tone and put great emphasis on having a challenging and rewarding working day.
While most members of our People team are located in Copenhagen, you can be based at any of our four office locations. If based outside of Denmark, you should expect occasional travel to the Copenhagen office to connect with the rest of the team. You will report to our Head of People based in Copenhagen.
You have a burning interest in Learning and Development and have first-hand experience in the area. You draw energy from creating high-quality content and ensuring smooth processes. You are a team player and will support the development and implementation of other People projects separate from your responsibilities. You are open-minded and curious. You are easily approachable and collaborative and have the conviction to state your own opinion while being able to accept different points of view.
