People Assistant (student)

We are looking for a People Assistant to help us ensure we deliver high quality in executing various day-to-day tasks, events and projects.

WHO ARE WE?

At Copenhagen Economics you will meet a team of highly skilled economists working together to combine hard facts and clear stories to help our clients make better choices in their political and commercial reality.

In Business Support, we are a dedicated team of around 15 people working with HR, Communications, Finance & Office Management who strive to deliver high quality solutions and processes that supports the strategy of the company. While we are spread out across our 4 locations, we collaborate cross-country to streamline ways of working.

 

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

As People Assistant, you will get exposed to a broad scope of HR (what we call People at CE) topics, ranging from recruitment and onboarding of new colleagues, to training and development. You will collaborate closely with the rest of the People team to ensure we deliver high-quality in everything we do.

Working with us, you will be a part of a dynamic and international environment with colleagues who take pride in the work they do. We have an informal tone and put great emphasis on having a challenging and fun working day. You will be based in Copenhagen and report to our People Operations Manager.

Your tasks will be to

  • Support various recruitment processes in collaboration with our People Coordinator and Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Manager, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating student events.
  • Support the onboarding of new colleagues as needed, including coordinating onboarding tasks, adding new joiners to our systems, and sending out information on their first day.
  • Coordinate various learning activities and events, both within the team but also for the business.
  • Answer queries from our consultants or helping redirect them to the relevant parties.
  • Maintain our systems and ensure data is kept up to date at all times and in compliance with GDPR.
  • Ad hoc support on projects where you have an interest and opportunity to join and learn.

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCE

You have a key interest in learning ways of working within HR and enjoy being exposed to a broad variety of tasks. You are highly organized by nature, detail-oriented, and will seek to help the rest of the team deliver according to deadlines. You consistently strive to find more efficient ways of doing things.

You are a true team player and will support the implementation- or development of other projects outside your own responsibilities. You are open-minded, curious by nature and keen to understand the different cultures of our international firm. You are easily approachable with the courage to state your opinion on the matter at hand, and you are also able to accept different points of view.

 

We expect you to have the following skills and profile

  • You are currently a student in HR, or a related field, and have preferably 1+ year to go before you finish your degree.
  • You have had some relevant work experience during your studies, not necessarily within HR, where you have coordinated day-to-day tasks and perhaps also training or events.
  • You have an excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • You have hands on experience using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, experience with other programs and databases are a plus.
