Do you want to gain a broad insight into human resources and take ownership of a variety of tasks? Do you want to work in an international environment where you can collaborate across offices and with people from all over the world?
We are looking for a People Coordinator to help us ensure we deliver high quality in executing various day-to-day tasks, events and projects in our People Team. The start date is as soon as possible.
Copenhagen Economics (CE) is an international economics consultancy comprised of a diverse mix of highly skilled economists working together to deliver hard facts as clear stories. Trusted around the world for our unsurpassed technical abilities, we thrive on complex cases, offering unbiased, trustworthy analyses valued the world over for their insight and thoroughness. We prioritise service and strive to cultivate a deep understanding of our client’s needs from the first meeting.
Today, more than 100 talented individuals work at CE. Our core business comprises more than 80 consultants from students to experienced specialists, located in four offices in Brussels, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Stockholm and supporting clients globally concerning, for example, dispute support, competition and regulatory economics across various sectors, climate and sustainability, intellectual property and transfer pricing. The 20-member Business Support Team (BST), of which you will be a part, work with Human Resources, Communications, Finance and Office Management. Tasked with delivering high-quality strategic support across the company, the BST is spread across our four locations and collaborates actively to maximise our resources and find more streamlined ways of working.
As our People Coordinator, you will be exposed to a broad scope of human resource topics, ranging from recruitment and onboarding of new colleagues to learning and development, employee data management, and daily operational tasks. You will collaborate closely with the rest of the People Team to ensure we deliver high quality in everything we do. As you gain more experience, you will have the opportunity to take on and run more projects in the areas you find of particular interest.
Being part of CE means being part of a dynamic and international team. We pride ourselves on providing a professional working environment with an atmosphere of cooperation and good humour. We have an informal tone and put great emphasis on having a challenging and rewarding working day.
You will be joining our People Team based in Copenhagen, supporting all four locations. You will report to our People Operations Manager.
You have a key interest in learning ways of working in human resources and enjoy being exposed to a broad variety of tasks. You are highly organised and detail-oriented and will seek to help the rest of the team deliver according to deadlines. You consistently strive to find more efficient ways of doing things without being asked to. You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
You are a true team player and will support the implementation or development of other projects outside your responsibilities. You are open-minded, curious and keen to understand the different cultures of our international firm. You are easily approachable with the courage to state your opinion on the matter at hand, and you can accept different points of view.
Please send your application, including your CV, cover letter, academic transcripts, and other relevant material no later than 4 June 2023. In your motivational letter, please elaborate on why you would like to work with us and why you believe you would make a good fit for the role and our team. We respond to all applicants and successful candidates will be called for interviews on an ongoing basis.
