The role

As an Analyst/Economist you will assist our clients and their legal advisers in confidential high-stake legal proceedings by preparing economic expert evidence based on real-world company and market data.

In this role, you will bring your broad and deep skillset encompassing economic analytical tools to analyse and understand the function of markets and the behaviour of market players. You will use your excellent written and verbal communication competencies to turn complex and rigorous analytical findings into clear stories. Ultimately, the outcome of your work is evidence-based economic analysis of the highest quality.

You will work collaboratively as part of a team of other Analysts, Economists, and senior CE staff. In our work, we utilise the entire team’s economic skillset and experience to solve the problems our clients face. As an Analyst/Economist in the team, you will be gathering and analysing economic and financial data, formulating statistical models, testing hypotheses, and developing recommendations for internal and external presentations.

You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are alike. You seek feedback from others to push yourself. Depending on individual performance, opportunities for career progression are wide open to you. You will have the chance to shape your work and role, and build your own internal and external networks as you establish yourself in the industry.

Lastly, you will play a key role in helping us grow our Dispute Support Service in a competitive marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application of mathematical valuation and statistical modelling tools to generate insights that enable clients to make better decisions;
  • Collection, organisation, and processing of data from both public and proprietary sources, and engagement with the data stewards of our clients; and
