We are looking for a talented and ambitious economics and/or finance student with an interest in consulting to join our IP Valuation and Transfer Pricing team in our Stockholm office as a Research Assistant. We would prefer you to start May 2024 at the latest.
Copenhagen Economics is a leading economic consultancy where a diverse mix of highly skilled economists work together to deliver hard facts and clear stories. Our work is project-based and tailored to the specific needs of the client. Like our clients, our work takes many shapes and forms. In our IP Valuation and Transfer Pricing service, we support our clients by developing economic models to determine the value of intellectual property (e.g., brands and patents) and other assets, and we design and defend transfer pricing systems for multinational groups. You can see examples of our publications here and read more about our different services here.
While our team is fully based in Stockholm, it is highly international, with members from around the world, including the Nordics, other European countries, Asia and Australia. Similarly, our clients are located around the world, from the USA to Africa and Europe. We work closely as a team and believe that social activities are an important part of getting to know each other, allowing us to work together better on projects.
You are intellectually curious, driven, and a humble team player. Additionally:
At Copenhagen Economics, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact, working for international enterprises across the world. Teamwork is a fundamental part of how we work, and you will work closely with and learn from experienced consultants to develop your economic toolbox and consulting skills. You will work on key projects, where your tasks will include reviewing and researching data, supporting the conduct of theoretical and quantitative analyses, drafting reports and creating presentations. You should also expect some ad hoc tasks.
Our work environment is international, trustful, and fast-paced. We take immense pride in delivering outstanding work and in having fun in and outside of the office. You can visit us on Instagram to get a feel for our work culture: https://www.instagram.com/copenhageneconomics/.
A normal work week constitutes 20 hours at our Stockholm office but with two-way flexibility, particularly around exam periods.
