Erik co-chairs Copenhagen Economics' Dispute Support practice and holds a leading position in the firm's Competition practice – two teams providing state-of-the-art expertise in antitrust, damage quantification, causality analysis, and commercial valuation.
He provides economic expert advice and strategic advice compiled in statements, reports, and testimonies in litigation and arbitration, as well as during commercial mediations and in dialogue with authorities. He has been engaged in a wide range of industries, advising claimants and defendants with private and public stakeholders. In his current work, he has assisted clients in antitrust investigations, litigation processes, and settlement negotiations.
Erik works closely with clients and their legal advisers, facing or making allegations in antitrust, follow-on and standalone actions for damages, and commercial contract disputes. As an econometric expert, Erik can assist his clients in cases where the required empirical analysis becomes very complex and/or very technical.
Erik has a PhD from the School of Business and Social Sciences, Aarhus University.
