Dr Hendrik Fügemann leads the IP Valuation & Transfer Pricing service at Copenhagen Economics. He helps clients to solve economic challenges related to transfer pricing (TP) and Intellectual Property (IP) Valuation.
Hendrik advises multinational groups to tackle multifaceted TP challenges by designing and defending intercompany remuneration structures and policies for services, intangibles, as well as complex assets, in compliance with the latest OECD TP regulations. He often advises MNEs in local tax audits and court proceedings around the world.
His expertise includes the valuation of IP in disputes, M&A proceedings and business restructurings (e.g. transfer of IP and functions). Furthermore, he has provided expert reports in patent and trademark infringement cases in Europe and the Americas.
He has supported companies operating in a wide range of industries, including information and telecommunications technology, manufacturing, high-tech, chemicals, mining, pharmaceuticals, as well as professional services and financial markets.
Hendrik has published articles in industry-leading journals (e.g. ITR, TP Week, Bloomberg BNA) and frequently presents at conferences.
Hendrik previously worked at NERA Economic Consulting and a Big 4 consulting firm in related fields.
