Senior Economist

Max advises clients within the fields of competition and antitrust by applying industrial organisation theory as well as economic and econometric analyses. He collaborates closely with clients and their legal representatives, confronting or asserting claims in antitrust matters and follow-on private lawsuits for damages.

Max is experienced in estimating damages, defining relevant markets, evaluating horizontal and vertical agreements, and merger-related effects. He has provided economic advice across a wide range of sectors, including automotive, consumer electronics, financial services, food and drink, healthcare, social media, and transport. 

As well as co-authoring a research handbook on the private enforcement of competition law in the EU, Max has published articles on competition economics in English and in German.
