BL – Danish Social Housinghas asked Copenhagen Economics to assess the economic arguments behind affordable housing.
The main conclusions of our study are
- Affordable housing can help support and generate urban economic growth
- Affordable housing can increase social mobility
- Affordable housing is for these reasons also prioritised in large global cities such New York and London
