Copenhagen Economics have assisted the Mineral Licence and Safety Authority on Greenland’s new Mineral Strategy. The Government of Greenland has now approved Greenland’s Mineral Strategy 2020 – 2024, which contains five focus areas. The overall vision of the strategy is to differentiate the economy, create new jobs, skills and business for existing enterprises and contribute with revenue to the treasury and contribute to the economic development to the benefit of all of Greenland.

Each focus area is divided into objectives and hands-on initiatives enabling implementation and ultimately evaluation of the strategy.
The study is commissioned by the Government of Greenland.
