Copenhagen Film Fund is a business foundation with the clearly defined purpose of attracting international and larger Danish film- and TV-productions to the capital region of Denmark, creating jobs and growth.
Copenhagen Economics assisted the Film Fund in estimating the effects of its investments in the period 2013-2015. We find that each DKK spend by the Copenhagen Film Fund supports a GNI-contribution of 3.2-5.8 DKK. The fund has thus supported a GNI contribution of 31-55m DKK per year, and employment corresponding to 70-100 full-time equivalents.
