Lunch event in the Nordic Energy Efficient Mortgages Hub: How to scale up lending for energy renovations in the Nordics?
5 October 2021 from 12.00 – 13.30, Langebrogade 1 DK-1411 Copenhagen
It is with great pleasure that Copenhagen Economics has the opportunity to invite you for an exclusive lunch event in connection with our Nordic Energy Efficient Mortgages (NEEM) Hub on Tuesday, 5th of October, at Copenhagen Economics’ premises in Denmark.
The meeting is intended to facilitate introductions between all advisory board members and the project team, providing an opportunity to give input on how you and your organization see the need for (and challenges in connection with) scaling up green financing in the Nordics.
The purpose of the NEEM Hub is to scale up lending for energy renovations in the Nordics in order to meet the EU green deal and the ambitious national climate targets of Nordic governments. Over the next decade we estimate that up to EUR 50 bn in private investments into energy efficiency of the Nordic building stock is needed. A substantial part is profitable on paper, but not actually carried out – an issue labelled the energy efficiency gap. NEEM will contribute in closing this gap.
As part of the existing Energy Efficient Mortgages Initiative supported by Horizon 2020, the Hub is comprised of a long list of institutions from the financial sector, behavioural scientists, mortgage specialists and authorities, and digital technology communities from across the Nordics, all guided by Copenhagen Economics.
The meeting is intended as a sit-down lunch scheduled to take place at our premises at Langebrogade 1, entrance B3, 1411 Copenhagen, from 12.00-13.30. While we hope that everyone can be there in person, we are aware that circumstances are different for us all. We will therefore ensure that the event allows anyone unable to be there in person to dial in to a live stream of proceedings.
Please let us know as soon as you can whether you plan on participating in physical or virtual form, or if you cannot attend, by filling out the registration form below. If you are planning to participate online, a link will be sent to you before the event.
We would appreciate a response no later than 24th of September.
Your participation in the advisory board is greatly appreciated and we look forward to meeting you in person. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to a member of the Copenhagen Economics team with any questions or comments you may have.
