Anton West has been working in the renewable industry for over 12 years, predominantly on auction analysis and tactical support since the first UK CfD auction in 2014. As such, Anton is one of the industry’s most experienced auction specialists. Most recently, he was responsible for designing and developing the commercial models and methods behind RWE’s winning auction analytical and strategic approach. Key project and team successes include the UK Round 4 Offshore Wind leasing round, Sofia’s CfD offtake auction, Triton knoll CfD offtake auction along with ca. 20-30 Onshore, and PV offtake auctions.

Josh Roebuck joined BEIS in 2020 to head up the policy and strategy teams in Renewable Electricity. Originally joining the government as an Economist, Josh has worked in several departments leading on strategy, engagement and crisis management. Josh has spent much of his career in the Home Office, working on immigration and international affairs. His current portfolio includes future electricity support schemes, policy for the UK’s Contracts for Difference auction and international engagement.

Stuart Noble has over twenty years of industry experience across trading, policy and regulation and commercial projects. He is currently responsible for Iberdrola’s offshore business offtake strategy – coordinating (where relevant) with Iberdrola’s Liberalised and Global Energy Management departments. Previous roles included the delivery of GB Electricity Market Reform within ScottishPower, including as an industry member of the Government’s Capacity Mechanism Expert Group.
