About us
Committed to operating
as a responsible business
The Copenhagen Economics Code of Conduct lays out the fundamental principles that guide our responsibilities and objectives in key areas. It governs how we uphold corporate responsibility across several key aspects of our business, including:
Business ethics in our work
Data ethics
Business ethics in company governance
Human rights and work customs
Environment and climate change
Our Code of Conduct extends its reach to all individuals associated with Copenhagen Economics. This includes CE employees, contractors, vendors, freelancers, and the members of our Board of Directors.
We are committed to Environmental, Social, and Governance principles that positively impact our environment, society, and stakeholders. Our strategic positioning on sustainability outlines our dedication to these principles, focusing on fostering a culture of responsibility and transparency.
Social impact
Our team is committed to helping cultivate a sustainable future for our societies and our planet. Read more about our pro-bono work and how Copenhagen Economics gives back to the community.
Neksus Award
To honour our founder’s Claus Kastberg Nielsen‘s contributions to voluntary associations, scouting, and society for over 25 years, we partnered with the Danish Guides and Scouts Association (Det Danske Spejderkorps) to establish the Neksus Award. This award celebrates exceptional scout leaders who – like Claus himself, through his work at Copenhagen Economics and Stjernegruppen – make a positive impact in both their professional careers and as dedicated scout leaders. EMPOWERING DIVERSITY
At Copenhagen Economics we celebrate the diversity of our people, providing an attractive and stimulating working environment for the best and brightest economists in Europe.
Attracting and retaining top female professionals is a key goal for us as an economic consulting firm. No matter which stage of life they are at, we work together with our female colleagues in building a strong professional network.
A signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles
“Copenhagen Economics is committed to promoting gender equality and the empowerment of our female colleagues. We recognise that affecting positive change in this area means making a public commitment, and we see the Women’s Empowerment Principles as a powerful statement of intent that we are determined to follow through on. We are keenly aware of the “Nordic Paradox” and the need for this to change, and we hope that signing up to the Women’s Empowerment Principles will be another step in this direction.”

GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
We believe in using economics to create positive change. Through our pro-bono initiative, we offer expert analysis and insights to support charitable organisations in making informed, impactful decisions.
