He has managed several major postal‑sector projects, particularly on the universal service obligation (USO), and has authored papers on postal regulation. He specialises in applying quantitative tools to competition matters and translating complex analyses into intuitive, decision‑ready evidence.

Before joining Copenhagen Economics, Jacob worked at the Danish Ministry of Finance.
