Jouni Sohkanen is a Director at Copenhagen Economics and co‑heads our firm’s Dispute Support service. He advises clients on commercial and competition law disputes, and on their engagement with competition authorities and regulators. His work spans litigation support, economic evidence for damages claims, and advising both claimants and defendants in complex disputes.

A specialist in quantitative analysis and econometrics, Jouni is highly experienced in the economic quantification of damages in competition law infringements and commercial disputes. He has played a central role in several long‑running cases, ensuring analytical robustness, consistency, and seamless coordination across jurisdictions, clients, external counsel, and CE teams. His recent work includes major damage assessment projects involving detailed economic modelling and structured engagement with international legal teams.

Jouni holds a doctorate from the University of Oxford.
