Are you close to finishing your master’s degree in economics or finance and curious about how economic analysis shapes real-world decisions? We offer paid internships where you work on meaningful projects alongside experienced consultants — and see the impact of your work from day one.
We are looking for a full-time intern to join our Stockholm office for a minimum of three months, starting as soon as possible.
Copenhagen Economics is an economic consultancy formed of a diverse mix of highly skilled economists working together to deliver hard facts and clear stories. Our work is project based and always tailored to the specific needs of the client.
Like our clients, our work takes many shapes and forms. Typical projects include:
You can visit our website for examples of our work and read more about our different services.
You will join our State Aid and Valuation & Transfer Pricing teams. Your work will include state aid assessments, company and asset valuation, and transfer pricing analyses in both strategic and contentious settings. While your primary affiliation will be within these services, you may also contribute to projects across other services based on our needs.
You will gain hands-on experience through project work, receive ongoing feedback from more experienced consultants, and develop both your technical skills and your understanding of economic consulting as a career path.
Our work environment is international, collaborative, and fast-paced. We work in a hybrid setting and value flexibility, recognising that people do their best work when there is room for life outside the office. We take pride in delivering high-quality work and in enjoying our time together, both professionally and socially. Visit our Instagram to get a glimpse of daily life at CE.
Please send us your CV with a cover letter, academic transcripts, and other relevant material as soon as possible, but no later than 1 March 2026. In your cover letter, please elaborate on why you would like to intern with us, and why you believe you would be a good fit for the role and our team. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds and identities.
Please note that applicants with more than 1 year of relevant work experience are encouraged to submit an unsolicited application instead. We do not sponsor visas for internships.
If you have any questions, please send an email to ta@copenhageneconomics.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We look forward to hearing from you!
