People Coordinator

Location: Copenhagen
Application deadline: 2024-11-22 23:59:59

Do you want to gain a broad insight into human resources and take ownership of a variety of tasks? Do you want to work in an international environment where you can collaborate across offices and with people from all over the world?

We are looking for a People Coordinator to help us ensure we deliver high quality in executing various day-to-day tasks, events and projects in our People Team. The start date is as soon as possible.

WHO ARE WE?

Copenhagen Economics (CE) is an international economics consultancy comprised of a diverse mix of highly skilled economists working together to deliver hard facts as clear stories to our clients all over the world.

We are around 100 co-workers from more than 20 different countries, located in four offices in Brussels, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Stockholm. The 20-member Business Support Team (BST), of which you will be a part, work with Human Resources, Communications, Finance and Office Management. The Business Support Team drives CE’s strategic goals by delivering high-quality guidance and support to all our stakeholders, collaborating seamlessly across functions and locations. Our expertise and business insight help maximize commercial results now and for the future.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

As our People Coordinator, you will dive into a wide range of human resource areas, including data management, recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, and essential daily operations. Working closely with the People team, you will ensure our processes run seamlessly and maintain our high standards. As you grow in the role, you will have the opportunity to take on and run more activities and/or projects that align with your interests, helping to shape your career in the direction you are passionate about.

At CE, you will be a part of a vibrant, international team that values trust, teamwork, and professionalism. We strive for an open, supportive environment that makes each day both rewarding and challenging. With our informal culture and strong team spirit, we aim to foster a workplace where you can genuinely thrive and feel free to be yourself, regardless of who you are or where you come from. We enjoy spending time with one another, coming together for various events during the year.

You will join our Copenhagen-based People team, supporting all four of our locations, and report directly to our People Operations Manager. Our work is hybrid, giving you the flexibility to create a balance which works for you. When you join, we recommend that you spend most days at the office to get to know your new colleagues and our ways of working.

Your tasks will include

  • Maintaining the people platforms and drives and ensuring co-worker records and people related data are kept up to date and accurate, as well as compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Coordinating onboarding activities, including aligning with People Managers and different support teams, creating onboarding programs, and adding new joiners to our onboarding platform.

  • Coordinating various learning activities and events together with our Learning & Development Specialist, including scheduling training, distributing evaluation forms, and maintaining training records.

  • Supporting the recruitment process in collaboration with our Head of People, including posting job ads, communicating with candidates, scheduling interviews, and sending out test material.

  • Supporting employer branding activities, including coordinating events in-house or at universities together with our consultants and different support team colleagues.

  • Updating our People intranet sites through collaboration with People team colleagues.

  • Monitoring and sorting our inboxes, and helping redirect e-mails the relevant colleagues.

  • Providing input for the monthly payroll run in collaboration with our People Operations Manager.

  • Support our People Operations Manager with mobility cases from time to time.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCE

You have a genuine interest in learning the ins and outs of human resources and thrive in dynamic environments with diverse tasks and challenges. Known for your organisation and keen eye for detail, you spot and correct errors others miss. You’re proactive about planning and time management, always seeking more efficient ways to approach your work.

You value teamwork and are eager to contribute to activities or projects beyond your core responsibilities. Open-minded and curious, you embrace diversity in all its aspects. Others find you approachable and confident in sharing your perspective, while appreciating that others may see things differently.

We expect you to have

  • A relevant degree from which you have recently graduated, or maybe you have worked for one or two years after graduation.

  • Relevant work experience during or after your studies, in which you have managed data and coordinated day-to-day tasks, not necessarily in human resources. It is a plus if you have had exposure to coordinating learning activities and/or recruitment activities.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Hands-on experience using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Experience with other programmes, platforms or databases is a plus.

  • Preferably, you have experience from living abroad, such as an exchange.

HOW TO APPLY

Please send your application, including your CV, cover letter, academic transcripts, and other relevant material no later than Friday 22 November 2024. In your motivational letter, please elaborate on why you would like to work with us and why you believe you would make a good fit for the role and our team. We respond to all applicants and successful candidates will be called for interviews on an ongoing basis.
