Research Assistants for IP/TP Stockholm

Location: Stockholm
Application deadline: 31/05/2022

We are looking for a Research Assistant to join our Stockholm office. Preferably, we would like you to start as soon as possible and latest 1 July 2022.

At Copenhagen Economics we provide Hard Facts and Clear Stories to enable our clients to make better choices in their political and commercial realities. We succeed because we are a cooperative team drawn from the best economists, applied microeconomists and quantitative economists in Europe. A pillar of our success is the level of service which we provide to both public and private clients in the delivery of compelling, pragmatic economics solutions. We have extensive hands-on experience working with theoretical and quantitative economic analyses which we tailor to the needs and the business models of our clients.

Copenhagen Economics is one of the leading economics firms in Europe, and for the past 15 years has been consistently listed by the Global Competition Review (GCR) as one of the Top-20 economic consultancies in the world.

We are looking for a student to join our team in our Stockholm office as soon as possible. Working as a Research Assistant, you will be a part of our ‘Intellectual Property Valuation and Transfer Pricing’ team, focusing on analysing transfer pricing systems and drafting reports.

At Copenhagen Economics, you will get the opportunity to have a direct impact, working for international enterprises across the world. You will develop your skills in economics by learning from and working closely with our team of experienced consultants. You will be working on key projects where your tasks will include reviewing and researching data, drafting reports and creating presentations. You should also expect some ad hoc tasks.

A normal working week constitutes 20 hours at our Stockholm office, but with two-way flexibility, particularly around exam periods.

You are intellectually curious, driven, and a humble team player. Additionally:

  • You excel academically and are either a Bachelor- or Master student in Economics and/or Finance
  • You have excellent English skills
  • You love being a part of a team but can also work independently when needed
  • You enjoy working on both quantitative and qualitative tasks
  • You have an interest in learning about valuation and transfer pricing
  • You are the type who can’t help but seek out and take ownership of tasks, and you take pride in delivering high-quality work

Please submit your application, including CV, a short cover letter and academic transcripts from high school and onwards no later than 31 May 2022. In your motivational letter, please elaborate on why you would like to work with us and why you believe you would be a good fit for the role and our team (max 500 words).
